Schoolhouse Bake Shop is inspired by the historic Huichica Schoolhouse in Sonoma, California, a two-room schoolhouse built in 1911 that served local children for nearly 50 years. Later, when the building stood in the path of a road project, Anne’s family saved it at auction and moved it near the family ranch, preserving a piece of local history.

That spirit of gathering, care, and preservation is at the heart of what we bake. From sourdough loaves to cookies and scones, our small-batch goods are made to feel warm, familiar, and worth sharing.
